In Memory of:
Spoonamore, Denton (Shorty)
2/24/09 This morning we lost Shorty, most of you knew him and I wanted to let you know. He suffered a major heart attack yesterday and he did not survive it. Most of you also know that Shorty has been fighting cancer for quite sometime now and although that is not what ultimately took him he is now resting in a much better place. All of our thoughts and prayers go out to Phil and Betty Timmons (his sister) and the rest of Shorty's family as they mourn the loss of someone we all knew and highly respected.
This is a very sad day for his family, his friends, his fellow moose members and a lot of us pool players who've spent many Saturdays with him.
If you are unable to make a donation at the moose and would like arrangement details I will get them posted to the website at www.moosebilliards.com on the home page as soon as they are finalized.
